Frank’s education with soil and plant cultivation started in 1992 while working at Bob Buchanan’s diversified farms. He built and operated 9,000 square feet of greenhouses for producing green potted grapes, peppermint, sagebrush and custom propagation. In 2000 Frank and Bob Buchanan planted vines to supply a personal winemaking hobby, which gave Frank a keen sense of the relationship between vineyard care, plant health, fruit quality, and wine complexity. SeVein’s vineyard developments provide Frank opportunities to express creativity and manage challenges involved with such complex projects.
